Recital Costumes and Price List
Recital 2026 "A Dream Is a Wish" will take place on Thursday, June 18th at Madison Theater at Molloy University
Please note that alterations to costumes are to be expected. If you wish to submit your child's size to us, please email no later than October 1st (use the sizing chart below and order a full size larger so your child doesn't outgrow it by June). Or, we will measure your child for you. We cannot return or exchange for size swaps so please use the sizing chart below.

A recital costume deposit of $50 per family is due on or before October 1st for students participating in the 2026 recital.
Costume prices range between $85 and $130 and specific prices can be found at the the list below the gallery when available. Each family will receive an invoice by Mid-October with their costume balance after payment of their deposit. Balance payment is due on or before November 15th.

Costume Procedure and Timeline
- Oct 15 — Performance Commitment: Dancers must commit to their choreography pieces by making a costume deposit. If you are ever unsure which pieces your child is in, the front desk is happy to confirm.
- Oct 1 – Nov 1 — Measurements: We take measurements during class. We automatically add about 2 inches to accommodate growth, prioritizing girth size. Because we need measurements for every single child, regular attendance during these weeks is incredibly helpful!
- Nov 15 — Balance Due: Invoices are sent home with your child’s specific costume and size listed. You will also receive an email blast with sizing charts and a copy of this procedure. The size listed is what your child measured; if you wish to request a different size, please let us know, keeping in mind that families assume responsibility for the final choice.
- Nov 15 – Dec 15 — Recital Packets: Informational packets are emailed and posted online. A hard copy will also be placed in your child's costume bag.
- February — Distribution & Fittings: Costumes are distributed after an in-studio fitting. Teachers check the fit of every costume before it goes home. If an issue is flagged, we keep the costume to correct it. The office coordinates a single shipment of exchanges at this time (primarily for manufacturer errors). If you request a size change different from your original invoice in February, it is usually still possible to get it in time, but additional shipping and administrative fees may apply. Student absences during these weeks are our biggest cause of distribution delays, so thank you for helping us keep your kids on track by not being absent multiple weeks in a row!
- Storage: Please label and store all costume pieces and hair accessories in a safe place at home as soon as your costume is sent home.
- April / Early May — Alterations: Families should take costumes for any necessary alterations during this window.
- Dress Rehearsal: Dancers should arrive in their altered costumes with the correct shoes and tights (the same colors required for regular class, as listed on your registration form).
