Rachel Corsini, Ballet Instruction
During her first ballet class, Ms. Rachel stood with her arms in fifth position and declared herself a pretty pink princess. From that day on, she pirouetted her way from class to class, eventually landing herself at the prestigious Professional Performing Arts School where she trained in mostly the Cecchetti technique. Looking to expand her horizons, she began taking classes at Broadway Dance Center under Kat Wildish. Rachel spent her summers training under Gloria Bowen who introduced her to the Vaganova technique (she finally learned to fold in her thumbs). She likes to joke she is a mixed bag of ballet. Rachel is a New York State certified ELA (grades 7-12) and literacy teacher (grades 5-12) with extensive experience in special education.
