FAITH Dance Project Hosts Performance to Support American Lung Association

The FAITH Dance Project will be hosting an eclectic showcase performance this summer at The Dance Forum, 20 West 17th Street, New York, New York on Saturday July 1st at 2 P.M. and 8 P.M. and on Sunday, July 2nd at 2 P.M. Proceeds from this benefit performance will be used to support the American Lung Association, Asthma Research through donations.

The benefit showcase will consist of various modern and ballet choreography set to the music of Billy Holiday, Nina Simone, Etta James, Louis Armstrong, Frank Sinatra and other classical rhythm and blues/American jazz artists. The syrupy sound of Lady Day contrasts the intense rhythms and soul of Nina Simone just as well as the dancing itself seems to compliment itself. The FAITH Dance Project will also be performing in local venues within and around Long Island’s senior, educational and entertainment communities.
