Studio closures/events calendar
Parent Observation WeekNovember 17th - November 23rd for pre-ballet and level 1 classes only, new parents only. We are still actively trying to keep the number of people inside the studio low. We still recommend family observation of class via our Zoom classroom or class recordings.
If you are a new studio parent and you'd like to observe your child's class in person during observation week be sure to sign up ahead of time at this link. Only two guests per child. Siblings in attendance should be prepared to sit quietly for the duration of class time. This is not a demo or performance but rather an observed class. We are not preparing the children to expect a parent audience so they will not miss you if you can't make it :)

Nutcracker Box Office
Nutcracker tickets for all four performances are now available for purchase online for next-best available seating. Box office orders will be processed on a weekly basis. We encourage folks to order tickets online but we will also hold an in-person box office at the studio on Sunday, December 5th from 4-6pm with Mr. Corey if you’d like to pick your seats from the seating chart.
If you are ordering online, specific seating requests may be sent to [email protected] and we will do our best to accommodate.
Boosters, DVDs and Photos
Boosters for A Merry Mini Nutcracker may now be purchased here. We will display the mock-up of the program in late November on the front window so parents can check the spelling of their child’s name before we print.

Volunteering
Parent volunteers are needed for the 2021-2022 school year in the following areas:
Nutcracker: We are still organizing our backstage volunteer sheet for the four Nutcracker performances. Please email [email protected] when you know for which shows you'd like to help out backstage (females only). Dads, we can still use your help ON stage as party scene parents :) Note- there will be no boutique or bake sale due to Covid restrictions so no help needed there.
Daddy-Daughter Dance Committee: We have a tentative date of Tuesday, February 8th with a first committee meeting of November 11th. However, we only have one volunteer (thanks Jen C!) and so it is likely that this event will be tabled for this year. We will finalize that decision next week. This event typically needs 8-10 volunteers :O
Spring Concert and Recital: will call table and box office assistance, participant check-in and dismissal. We'll open volunteer sign up in February for the spring concert and spring recital.
Belt Assessments
Students who have been advised by their teacher that they are ready to take their belt assessment may now register for December 2021 exam times here. Belt assessments will take place on Thursday, Dec 16th and Saturday Dec 18th. Once registered, you will receive an email with your assigned assessment time.
Please email [email protected] if you have a time conflict with your assigned time.
Spring Concert & Spring Recital Preliminary Info
SPRING CONCERT
Audition dates and rehearsal schedules for the spring concert have been posted here but are currently subject to change. (The spring concert is a by-audition performance for pre, junior and senior company and we rehearse separately from class time.)
RECITAL
(Recital is the June 13th performance that includes ALL dancers registered before Oct 15th in a recital class: tots, pre-ballet, pre-primary, level 1-3 and supplemental tap/jazz/contemporary classes.)
Recital Info Packets for the 2022 recital will be distributed in dancers' costume bags (typically in February but we are expecting a later shipment this year). We will also post the recital info packet by mid-January with info on dance portraits, dress rehearsal. A tentative copy has been posted but dates and details are still subject to change.
Recital costume balances are now payable and due by November 15th. Please view your costume and make your payment here (password required). Unpaid costume balances will be processed to the card retained for tuition if unpaid by November 15th so please let us know if you plan to use an alternative method of payment.

2016-2017 New School Year Welcome Message
Welcome New and Returning Students to the 2016-2017 School Year!
We’re very excited to be back in classes and rehearsing for our upcoming Nutcracker performance.
If you are no longer an enrolled student you will not receive informational updates via email after this message.
Please Read Studio Emails
Email is our primary means of communicating important information to our dance families. We will send out no more than two or three emails each semester. They are not junk emails and include important information that you need.
Open Board Meeting and Orientation
On Sunday, September 18th we are holding an open board meeting and Nutcracker parents’ orientation at 7:30pm at the studio. The Board will decide on school year events, policies, field trips, fundraising, committees, recital vendors and more and everyone’s input is appreciated. We will also go over backstage, rehearsal and performance info for Nutcracker parents. All are welcome. If you are not a board member/Nutcracker parent, please RSVP in advance to [email protected] if you’d like to attend.
Calendar & Closings
Here is a link to our school year calendar including closings and holidays. Please do not contact the studio office to inquire about closings as we will not likely get your message until after a given holiday. Weather-related closings will be emailed and announced on our website and Facebook page. Changes to our calendar will be announced via email.
Website Password and Posting Pictures
The website password for all recital choreography, costumes and all other password protected pages is: iloveballet
Password protected pages are used to protect your child’s likeness from being visible on the website. We always ask parents’ permission before posting student images on non-password pages such as Students of the Months, etc. For the same reason, please be considerate of other families when posting dance videos and pictures on your social media pages. Otherwise, tag away!

All information, form submissions and payments can be found/made directly on our website. If you require administrative assistance, our Fall semester office hours are:
Nutcracker:
Rehearsals begin this Sunday, Sept 11th. Children enrolled at the school who are not performing in the production will be granted free admission to the December 3rd and 4th shows (children must be accompanied by a paid adult). Details regarding performances will be forthcoming.
For members of the cast: Contract submissions and participation fees are due on or before our first rehearsal on September 11th and can be submitted on the website by clicking here.
Boys Tap Workshop:
Ages 7-10, No experience necessary
6 Weeks | Saturdays at 2pm, Oct 15th -Nov 19th
$110 Class Fee, Half-Off for Boys Already Enrolled in Ballet Classes at Integral
Black Tap Shoes, Black pants, White Tee Dress Code Required
10 Spots Only, First Come/First Serve
Fall Field Trip:
We will plan a December field trip to NYCB's Nutcracker. Volunteers to head up the field trip planning are encouraged to email Ms Erin at [email protected]. Trip details will be forthcoming.
Recital Costume Deposits:
Be sure to make your costume deposit of $50 if you intend to have your child participate in our spring recital on June 4th. Costume deposits are due upon registration.
For youngsters just starting dance, families have until October 15th to make their costume deposit online.
