Integral Ballet Academy Program
Belt Assessments for Level 1i-3/4We thank you for your efforts in helping your child succeed in ballet! Although not every child will want to become a professional dancer, the strength and grace they learn in ballet class will never leave them and it is such a gift to learn at a young age.
Children must take a trial audition for placement into classes at Integral Ballet. Please see the level forms to the right to determine the appropriate level for your child. Level 1/2 dancers and higher are required to wear a hip alignment belt as a part of their dress code, their belt color will coordinate with their level. Their color belt in no way affects a student’s class placement or choreography, but rather indicates the standards they need to meet within their level. This will help us to integrate students of slightly different levels in class and choreography with proper expectations for both teacher and student. Belts are available for purchase at the studio for $10 or you may purchase the appropriate color belt at a dance specialty store. Students must place between 85-100 points in their current level to move up to the next belt color. Assessments days will be scheduled periodically each semester or students may schedule private sessions. |
